MEMBERSHIP

How many times have you heard someone say “My spiritual life is personal and I don’t need to share it with anyone else.”? Indeed, our spiritual convictions and experiences are intensely personal. God works His life-transforming power in the very depths of our hearts and spirits. But too often we neglect the other part of our spiritual life – community and relationship.

All through Scripture we see that God is drawing us into a spiritual community. From His declaration in the Garden of Eden that it is not good for man to be alone, to the calling out of a people in the Old Testament to the first church in Acts, God has declared that our spiritual lives are to be lived out in community.

Here at Valley, we believe that sense of community is essential to each of us growing in our walk with Christ and our life-long adventure of faith. Community means that you benefit from others as they share with you what God has been teaching them. It means you grow as you serve Christ in the context of the church family. But it also means that we consider you a valuable gift to the life of the church. We are incomplete without you! God desires to use you to bless the church family with your faith and service! Life in the community of believers is a two-way street with blessings for everyone!

4. Evangelical Free Church Doctrine
5. Sharing your faith story
